Having a safe space to talk and work through your feelings can make a major difference. You might be surprised at just how relieving it is to voice your worries and fears instead of holding them in. Everyone wants to be heard and feel safe and supported in their most vulnerable moments. Having the space to say you're afraid or angry propels you forward. Being able to talk through what a career change or relationship ending might mean for your life is needed.

Who Am I?

I am Mahnoor Farooq! My name means moonlight, and I will hope to do just that: be the light for you in times of darkness. As a mental health counselor in training enrolled at Northwestern University’s clinical mental health counseling program, I will use the skills I have learned to help adults just like you with depression, anxiety, and life-transitions to manage every-day stressful situations. I take pride in my cultural competence, respecting and valuing the diverse backgrounds and experiences that each client brings. Your comfort and understanding are my top priorities.

Schedule a Consultation with Mahnoor to Get Started

Mahnoor is available for afternoon, and evening individual therapy appointments. She provides therapy services at a reduced self-pay rate of $50 per session. You may meet with Mahnoor in-person as well as online. Mahnoor's services are not eligible for insurance reimbursement. She is under the direction and supervision of Rayvene Whatley, LPC.

Mahnoor provides sliding scale therapy options as a participant in the Counselor Intern Program.
