Anxiety Group for Black Women
Because carrying it alone was never the plan.
anxious.black.female was created for Black women who are tired of carrying anxiety in silence and ready to do something about it.
In this group, you’ll understand your personal relationship with anxiety, learn to “do it scared”, and gain the skills to stop thoughts from getting in the way. Specifically designed to help Black women cope with everyday stressors unique to the Black female experience.
Returning June 16, 2026
For Black women, anxiety is a solo sport no one signed you up for.
Uncertainty gets labeled weakness. Struggle gets met with shame. So you go quiet and hope it passes.
Here’s what nobody tells you: anxiety is one of the most common human experiences and when you understand it, it stops being the enemy. It becomes information.
You don’t have to carry this alone anymore.
Join a community of women who get it — and finally get the tools to match.
Why Join an Anxiety Group?
Learn to distinguish effective stress from ineffective stress so that you can stop beating yourself up.
These lessons will empower you to:
-
-
- Not be overshadowed by feelings of anxiety.
- Release the intense fear associated with the feeling.
- Push through intimidating moments and emerge whole on the other side.
- Spot the spiral and get out early
-

You’re Anxious. Your mind is pulled in three directions at once, and getting it wrong isn’t an option. Everyone around you sees someone who has it together. But you can’t experience what they see, you’re too busy worrying.
You’re Black. In your community, talking about your struggles is either not an option or met with judgment. You don’t want to be seen as weak, crazy, or less than. So you stay silent.
You’re Female. Women carry more. That’s just the reality. And the one time you work up the courage to reach out, your feelings get dismissed. You’re told to push through or pray about it.
Join other Black women learning to quiet overthinking, ease everyday stress, and stop carrying anxiety in silence.

and Have the Audacity to be YOU
This is NOT for you if:
You’re not ready to take an honest look at how anxiety is showing up in your life.
You want to vent without working toward something different.
You’re looking for a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all solution.
You’re not open to the idea that anxiety can be managed, not just survived.
This IS for you if:
You’re tired of anxiety running the show and you’re ready to respond differently.
You want tools that actually work for your specific experience as a Black woman.
You’re ready to be in a room where you don’t have to explain yourself.
You’re done pushing through alone and ready to find your people.rms.
Scheduling Now for June 2026
Group Participation Requirements
A 45-minute intake session is REQUIRED to determine eligibility for groups. You will NOT be allowed to attend a group if you have not met with the facilitator.
Each participant must complete an individual intake session before attending the first group. This is your opportunity to ask questions, discuss concerns, and evaluate your ability to participate prior to committing. We will also discuss group expectations. For a limited time initial sessions are being conducted at a reduced rate of $100 (regular rate $150).
A Message From Our Founder
anxious.Black.female was created because too many Black women are carrying anxiety in silence and calling it “just life.”
I kept seeing the same pattern: capable, ambitious, dependable women who were exhausted from overthinking, people pleasing, perfectionism, and trying not to disappoint everyone. Women who could show up for work, family, and everybody else’s crisis, but struggled to make room for themselves without guilt.
And honestly, I understood it.
For Black women, anxiety can come with extra layers: the pressure to be strong, the fear of being misunderstood, and the habit of shrinking your feelings so no one labels you “too much,” “angry,” or “difficult.”
anxious.Black.female exists to help Black women name their anxiety, reduce overwhelm, and build coping tools that fit the realities of their lives.
You deserve more than survival mode in a cute outfit.
Welcome to the discussion.
